Trochar, which is a tubular instrument, is placed at each of the port site through which the laparoscope is passed. The surgeon views and performs the surgery by viewing the high resolution video monitors in the operating room that display high resolution images of the internal anatomy that is transmitted through the video camera placed at the tip of the laparoscope.\r\n
