Dr. R. Padmakumar was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons for his substantial contribution to the speciality. He received the award from RCPS (Glasgow) president Dr. Frank Dunn at a convocation in Glasgow UK on 25th November 2015.
Dr. Padmakumar’s articles and innovative techniques published in International Journals, the lectures and workshops at various International conferences, his large patient group across 28 countries and surgical education programmes contributed to this rare honour.
