Dr Padmakumar is one of the brilliant doctor l have ever seen.His surgery methodology is unique and it is rare to see such a person dedicated to his profession and patients. Last month l did my minimal invasive thyroglossal cyst surgery there. All the doctors l previously consulted suggested open neck surgery but he suggested minimal invasive endoscopic surgery for thyroglossal cyst removal which is a rare procedure for thyroglossal cyst removal .Dr. padmakumar and his team led the surgery.It went well and l got discharged in 2 days.l felt no pain after the surgery and recovered quickly.Even the scar was so small that you cannot spot it out .Dr. Padmakumar and his team were very supportive and readily available at every point from my surgery to recovery . The follow-up procedure after the surgery were prompt and less time consuming.The staff at the clinic were very cordial and efficient. Initially l was afraid of the surgery but DR. Padmakumar’s efficiency and sincerity gained my trust and he instilled me with confidence. My family and l are grateful to Dr Padmakumar and his team .

Hello I’m from Auckland, NewZealand! I got diagnosed with small lump on the thyroid and total thyroidectomy was the recommended treatment. I was looking for scarless keyhole thyroidectomy and this was not available in NewZealand. I googled and Dr Padmakumar names popped up and we contacted him immediately. He was amazing,kind and very helpful in getting everything organised for the surgery. I flew to India and the surgery was done at lakeshore hospital. The whole process was very efficient and I felt completely well taken care off. After that i returned back to NZ and he was very supportive and very quick to respond to me whenever i had any questions. Dr. R .Padmakumar is a Gem of a person, very polite, doctors like him are very very rare to find now a days. He is one of the best Laparoscopic Surgeon with knowledge and expertise in his profession but also a great human being. He is very sincere and helps his patients in all possible means.Ask any number of queries, he answers all of them patiently. Very confident and experienced. From the first meeting itself, he made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. He explained the entire process of the endoscopic thyroidectomy surgery. My wife,Saheeda Jaleel,did Endoscopic Total Thyroidectomy, five months back by Dr.Padmakumar.We are fully satisfied with the surgery.We would recommend keyhole surgery because of the speedy recovery, we were able to get discharged the third day and no rest was required,in fact the doctor asked my wife to do all activities, as she did before the surgery.A surgery without any scar is also a blessing. I am so grateful and blessed to have been put in the hands of such a well experienced and skilled Surgeon Dr. R. Padmakumar Sir for Endoscopic Total Thyroidectomy. I had a minimally invasive thyroid surgery (Endoscopic Total Thyroidectomy) with no pain and with minimum discomfort. I was up and about hours after my operation. I would happily recommend Dr R. Padmakumar at every opportunity I get. I am very thankful to you for accommodating my procedure during a very busy time for you. My experience was outstanding. The people at the clinic & hospital were very kind and the surgeon was very knowledgeable and explained things to me in an easy way. I have nothing but respect and admiration for this surgeon and his team, who showed great professionalism and kindness towards me at every stage. Thank you! With traditional surgery, a scar of as much as four inches (and sometimes more) is typically very apparent on a permanent basis on the necks of patients who undergo thyroid surgery. Thus, laproscopic surgery helps get patients back to their regular routine more quickly. If you are still undecided then at the very least have a consultation with him to alleviate your fears.
